Project Progress
In the meantime, we have also:
- Recently completed the fire alarm installation to alert all residents of a fire now the blocks are on simultaneous evacuation.
- Held ongoing discussions with the original developer, Bellway, about their contribution to the defective remediation works that are required.
What to expect in the coming weeks:
- You will see both consultants and contractors working at your block in preparation for the main remediation work. This will include detailed survey work, where we will open up further and extensive parts of the building so that we can examine the construction behind the cladding. This additional preparatory work will help us to finalise the scope of remedial works that are required for your block.
- Subject to some final testing the fire alarm system will be fully operational.
